KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - TENDERS KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - PROJECTSEnsure conformity of all engineering activities with Company standards, procedures and policies and with laws, regulations and industry standards.Implement systems and tools on projects in accordance with company procedures to track and manage engineering activities to meet objectives.Establish and maintain quantity control of designs during development to mitigate quantity growth earlyIdentify and track the requirements of the contract as relevant to the design and engineering activities to ensure compliance including reliance information, specifications and standards.Implement a technical query and change management process to ensure all changes required to designs are appropriately dealt with.Implement the design review and approval process in accordance with company requirements and the Contract obligations. Ensure all designs issued are squad checked and approved for release.Work closely with the commercial team on the project to manage the commercial entitlement or protection required relating to design and engineering activities.Ensure DSP are adequately scoped to perform the services required, and engaged on the appropriate agreementReview the tender documents and identify requirements, specifications and obligations relevant to the design and engineering activities.Facilitate the development of a technical strategy for the tender that informs the design and engineering activities, partners, design providers, SME's and internal support functions required in alignment with company requirements and the overall win-strategy for the tender.Communicate the technical strategy with the bid team and gain alignment.Develop a strategy for design activities required during tender phase and produce the RFT’s for design service providers together with the procurement teamIdentify the Tender Advice Notices (TAN) required for the tender and manage in accordance with Company ProceduresIdentify and engage with SME’s both internal and external as required to support the tendering activities.Ensure all design activities are performed under executed agreements in accordance with company proceduresFacilitate workshops as required to manage the design development in close coordination with construction methods development ANCILLARY ACCOUNTABILITIESPerform scheduling and planning functions for bidding and site activities.Champion innovation and digital technologyDetermine and/or review inspection and test requirements for ITP’sRepresent the Company on recognized technical bodies as/when opportunities arise that are relevant to the Company’s business objectivesOversee research of industry trends and new products and processesAssist with business development initiatives and client liaison as requiredAny other duties as may be required by the CompanyABOUT YOURelevant Engineering qualification.Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the civil and infrastructure construction industry with significant exposure to design, costing, estimating and planningExperience in marine construction and in particular the construction of near-shore infrastructurePro-actively always builds good relationships with clients and reviews service levels to meet client expectationsAssertively persuades others to accept a proposed solution, or change their approach, by logically expressing ideas and opinions in order to achieve their goals.Accurately estimates, prioritizes and delegates tasks to make most effective use of resources to achieve short- and long-term business goals.Interested candidates, please email resume to our recruitment team to apply directly at Recruitment.Indonesia@mcdgroup.comDue to volume of applications and replies received, we regret to inform only suitable candidates who apply directly will be notified upon successful applications and applicants referred by recruitment agency will not be considered.
