As a hands-on Software Engineering Manager, you’ll not only guide your team but also deploy your technical expertise to help deliver products that transform how students and educators engage with higher education.What You'll DoDrive high-performance software delivery for a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous learning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and design, to define and execute the product roadmap. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to maintain high standards of software quality. Engage in design reviews and code reviews to up-level the performance of your team. Set the standard for code quality by contributing to the codebase yourself (wherever feasible & necessary)Identify and address technical challenges, providing innovative solutions to complex problems.
