With a user base of over 69 million through its affiliated payment platform, the company is reshaping how people access and use credit in their daily lives.Backed by strong financial performance and a growing product suite, the company is hiring an Engineering Manager to help lead cross-cultural backend teams while playing a key role in improving architecture, scalability, and team performance.This is a full-time remote role based in Japan. The development team works in English, but many stakeholders operate in Japanese, so conversational Japanese is required.Position DescriptionAs the Engineering Manager (Web Backend), you’ll lead a backend engineering team focused on core system development.
