This role is pivotal in driving innovation, efficiency, and cost optimization across our manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on the New Product Development Lifecycle (NPDL).Key ResponsibilitiesLead Strategic Projects: Develop and deliver manufacturing projects that align with business needs, primarily within the NPDL framework.Project Planning & Execution: Formulate and execute comprehensive project plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.Stakeholder Management: Organize decision-making forums and manage stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project outcomes.Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates on project status, including APQP quality metrics, timelines, and financials.Manufacturing Advocacy: Represent manufacturing interests in product development, ensuring DfMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) and DfSC (Design for Supply Chain) principles are applied.Technical Leadership: Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements to inform project direction and innovation.Cost Monitoring: Track and manage project costs to support financial targets.Collaboration & Best Practices: Promote consistent use of tools and methodologies, and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams.Value Engineering: Drive reduction in Manufacturing Value Add (MVA) and support optimization of Factory Cost Price (FCP) in next-generation products.Roadmap Alignment: Steer projects in line with product and process roadmaps, preparing manufacturing for future technologies such as connected products and automation.Process Improvement: Work within established execution frameworks like NPDL, while identifying opportunities to enhance processes—e.g., through automation of project workflows.What do we expect from you?Are you ready to take your career to the next level?
