Job DescriptionAs the Engineering Team Leader, you will oversee the activity of the assigned engineering team, being responsible for recruitment, employee development, performance management, feedback discussions and actions implementation, task assignment, prioritization, and utilization of the team.Also, you will maintain and develop a team that has a skill set profile aligned with the business forecast, the wider Cluj Systems and Software Center of Excellence Engineering team and the 5-year strategic plan, and which needs to execute projects effectively and efficiently. Another responsibility will be to ensure alignment with project requirements, deadlines, and technical standards while fostering collaboration, engagement, and continuous improvement across engineering teams. This role can have responsibilities as a technical referent within the team.We look forward to seeing your application!In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:To work closely with the Engineering Manager and the Learning and Development Leader, to understand how to develop the engineering competencies.To support the Engineering Manager with communication, planning, and forecasting.To ensure the good technical delivery of the projects and the implementation of the correct working methods, procedures, and tools.The recruitment of engineering resources to meet the demands of the European region as defined in the Annual Budget and forecasted in S&OP process.To ensure that all engineering team resources have an appropriate technical training and development plan.To manage the language skill sets of the team to meet the business requirements.To ensure that all engineering team members have a Performance Excellence Plan (PEP) which is reviewed on a regular basis.To act as a technical referent within the team when needed.Who You Are:You are the first to spot possible future policies, practices, and trends in the organization, with the competition, and in the marketplace. You are a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts.For This Role, You Will Need:Bachelor's degree in engineering (Computer Science, Automation or Process Engineering)Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the control engineering project industry. Proficient in English.Willingness to travel.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Minimum 2 years of experience in management/leadership of an Engineering team. Minimum 2 years of experience with people management. Relevant experience with training and development.
