Job Description: Curriculum Developer (English Language and Communication Skills)Key Responsibilities:Curriculum and Content Development: Develop comprehensive and engaging English language curricula and educational content, ensuring it aligns with CEFR and other industry standards as per the given requirements. Content Strategy: Plan and oversee the development of academic content that enhances language acquisition, from beginner to advanced proficiency levels. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality, accuracy, and relevance of all content, with a particular focus on grammar, contextual functionality, and clarity. Collaboration: Work closely with the HOD and other stakeholders to align educational materials with departmental goals. Adaptability to Pedagogy: Stay updated with emerging teaching methodologies and adapt content to meet modern pedagogical needs. Assessment Design: Contribute to designing assessments that effectively evaluate language skills, ensuring alignment with the established learning objectives. Training and Development: Mentor junior curriculum developers and offer regular feedback and guidance on best practices and content creation techniques. Preferred Qualifications:Education: PhD or Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), or a related field. Certifications: Relevant certifications in English language teaching, curriculum development, or content creation (e.g., CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL). Experience with eLearning: Familiarity with eLearning tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), or instructional design tools is a plus.
