We kindly ask that only eligible candidates apply.English Language TeacherWe are seeking dedicated English Language Teachers to join our team at the Foreign Languages Department of Istanbul Nişantaşı University. Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching, curriculum development, student assessment, and mentorship, contributing to our commitment to excellence in language education.Key Responsibilities:Delivering English language instruction to students at various proficiency levelsCreating and implementing engaging and effective lesson plansMonitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback and supportDesigning, administering, and grading tests and exams to evaluate student performanceCollaborating with the department to refine curriculum and teaching methodsEngaging in departmental meetings, participating in workshops, pursuing professional development opportunities, and contributing to extracurricular activitiesEncouraging an inclusive and interactive learning environmentRequirements:Bachelor's degree in ELT or a related field; CELTA is required; a master's degree is preferred.At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally in a higher education settingNative or native-like proficiency in EnglishBased in Istanbul by the start date and holding Turkish citizenshipKnowledge of contemporary language teaching methodologiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a multicultural environmentProficiency in digital teaching tools and AI-powered educational technologiesOpenness to integrating emerging technologies into teaching practicesA proactive and collaborative approach to professional development and teamworkQualifications:A passion for teaching and commitment to academic excellenceInnovative and flexible teaching strategies tailored to diverse student needsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsPunctuality and a disciplined approach to teaching responsibilitiesAbility to inspire and motivate students to achieve their language learning goalsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle classroom challenges effectivelyOpenness to feedback and a willingness to engage in continuous professional developmentStrong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining a positive and respectful classroom environmentExperience and comfort working in an international and intercultural environment, with sensitivity to cultural differences and diversityWorkplace Description:Istanbul Nişantaşı University is a prestigious institution known for its commitment to innovation and quality education.
