At Confluent, we’re pioneering the future of data streaming — and we’re looking for a dynamic Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth in the Japan market. As a key player on our sales team, you’ll take ownership of developing and executing a go-to-market strategy for some of the most recognized enterprises in the region. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is excited by the opportunity to shape the future of data-driven organizations.What You Will DoChampion Apache Kafka® and Confluent's cutting-edge data streaming platform within large enterprise and multi-national accountsDrive end-to-end sales efforts: prospect, qualify, engage, and close new business opportunitiesExceed sales goals — monthly, quarterly, and annuallyBuild and nurture trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders across IT and business functionsCollaborate with and grow relationships with Confluent’s strategic partners and the broader ecosystemDevelop and execute territory-specific go-to-market plans, leveraging organic, viral, and community-driven strategiesWhat You Will BringAt least 8+ years of successful enterprise sales experience, ideally in fast-growing software or SaaS companiesProven success selling complex solutions in one or more of the following areas: databases, messaging, open source, big data, or cloud infrastructureStrong business acumen with the ability to articulate the business value of data platforms to both technical and executive audiencesDemonstrated ability to sell to developers, architects, and C-level executivesExperience navigating and growing accounts within large, matrixed enterprise organizationsA collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a high-growth, startup-style environmentReady to build what's next?
