Job SummaryResponsible for leading and managing all permitting and regulatory approval activities for infrastructure projects nationwide. Acts as the primary liaison with local authorities, stakeholders, and federal bodies to ensure timely submission, compliance, and approval of permits and wayleaves. Collaborates closely with project managers and engineering teams to integrate permitting requirements into project plans and resolve related issues. Oversees vendor performance, documentation, and adherence to regulations, ensuring readiness for audits and inspections. Provides nationwide oversight of OSA and local council engagements, supporting the seamless planning and execution of fiber connectivity projects within approved budgets and timelines.Job Responsibilities Lead and oversee all permitting and regulatory approval processes for infrastructure projects.Ensure timely submission and full compliance with requirements set by local authorities (LA/LC, PBT, BM), stakeholders, and federal agencies.Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies, closely monitoring permit progress to avoid delays.Stay updated on relevant regulations and maintain organized documentation for audits and inspections.Collaborate with project managers and engineering/network teams to incorporate permitting requirements into project planning and execution.Proactively address and resolve permitting-related issues through effective communication with stakeholders.Coordinate with vendors and local councils (LC) on documentation and wayleave processes.Ensure all wayleave and permit applications are submitted accurately and on time.Track and evaluate vendor performance to ensure compliance with milestones, standards, and project expectations.Support the planning and implementation of fiber connectivity projects, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and timelines.Provide nationwide coordination and oversight for engagements with OSA (One Stop Agency) and Local Councils.Job RequirementsThis position is offered as a 2-year fixed-term contract.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Civil Engineering.PMP Certification is required. Fiber rollout–related certifications are an advantage.Minimum 10 years of experience in fiber infrastructure projects.At least 5 years of hands-on experience in permitting and regulatory processes for fiber rollout projects.Proven track record in coordinating with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and multiple stakeholders across large-scale fiber deployments.Strong understanding of permitting workflows, regulatory compliance, and fiber network rollout processes.Excellent organizational, planning, and project management capabilities.Proficient in MS Office and familiar with project documentation and reporting tools.Strong leadership, negotiation, and influencing abilities.Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external authorities.Experienced in managing relationships with internal/external stakeholders, government agencies, and local councils.Highly organized, reliable, and ethical, with a strong sense of confidentiality and discretion.Demonstrates resilience and the ability to work effectively under tight timelines and high-pressure situations.Committed to maintaining quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in all aspects of project delivery.Next StepsThank you for taking the first step towards joining our team at CelcomDigi!
