Work Type: Contract (6 Months), Full-TimeExperience Required: 7 – 9 YearsCompensation: USD 60 – 65 / Hour (Contractor Payout)Work Hours: 8 Hours/Day, 40 Hours/WeekEligibility: US Citizen / Green Card Holder (Required)Must Work Onsite: 2 Days/Week in Harrisburg, PAJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager 4 to lead a major statewide Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) transition project for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.The PM will oversee full-cycle delivery of a large-scale, enterprise-wide initiative involving electronic data capture, workflow automation, integration with surveillance systems, and modernization of existing lab systems.This role is responsible for complete project ownership from planning to go-live, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline while coordinating with multiple IT groups, program leaders, vendors, and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage high-priority IT projects from planning to implementation. Ensure project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements are met. Develop and secure approval for the Project Management Plan. Create and track detailed project schedules and deliverables. Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders and coordinate communication across teams. Provide weekly updates and conduct status meetings and presentations. Manage risks, issues, and scope changes through the RAID+ log. Work closely with application, data warehouse, networking, security, QA, and other IT teams. Coordinate system testing, reviews, and project inspections. Must-Have QualificationsPMI PMP Certification (Minimum 5 Years Active) Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS) 7 – 9 years of experience managing technical initiatives involving large, complex IT teams. Strong expertise in project budgeting, planning, communication, leadership, scheduling, and negotiations. Ability to ramp up quickly and perform independently. Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary IT teams and vendors. Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Must work onsite in Harrisburg, PA two days per week.Nice-to-Have QualificationsExperience with government or public health IT projects. Knowledge of enterprise data warehouse integrations. Experience managing multi-year modernization initiatives.
