They have offices in 4 countries - Germany, India, UK and the UAE.The company was founded by experienced entrepreneurs, Avinav Nigam (ex-P&G, Cars 24, Hotstar, Naspers & Immo) and Krishna Ramkumar (ex-BCG, Avanti Fellows, Urban Company & Loadshare) - both of whom have helped generate $10B+ in enterprise value in their previous entrepreneurial/ leadership roles.TERN has raised over €25M in venture funding from leading investors that have backed companies like Revolut, Airbnb, DeliveryHero etc. It is also backed by several high profile angel investors including Lord David Prior (ex-Chairman of the NHS-UK & Chair of the Care Quality Commission), CEO of Axa Healthcare etc.About the Entrepreneur in Residence roleIn Germany, TERN is organising and modernising the extremely large but old-school & fragmented Healthcare sector. In just 6 months, the business is at €15M in revenues; the goal is to grow to €0.5B over the next 4 years. The company plans to acquire at least 20 healthcare companies in 2026 to turbocharge growth.More importantly, TERN believes that technology will transform how healthcare companies operate - right from AI-driven training & sourcing of international talent to tech-driven matchmaking & operational delivery and finally by bringing products & services from the hospital to the comforts of one’s home. The Entrepreneur in Residence will be responsible to make this vision a reality.The Ideal CandidateThe role requires one to go deep to understand the needs and pain points of the end user (a community of 2000+ seniors today, soon to be 100k+) and then build out the right technological solutions to solve for these.The ideal candidate is someone who is full of ideas but also has the ability to roll up one’s sleeves to bring them to life.
