Entry-Level Design Technician – Electric Utility Projects

What You’ll DoComplete design task for associated utility design projects. Tasks include but are not limited to drafting, engineering calculations, easement validation; design/construction cost estimating & permit package development.Managing multiple projects in order to assure timely, successful completion for projects resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction and company/departmental goal achievements.This is a work-from-home position that has required fieldwork we’re hiring across PPL Electric Utilities’ service territory including: Lock Haven, Bloomsburg, Sunbury, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton, East Stroudsburg, Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Harrisburg, Hershey, Lancaster, Doylestown, and nearby areas.Required QualificationsAssociate's degree in Technical Related field preferred1-2 years of electrical/utility/construction experience preferredExperience with AutoCAD, ArcFM/ArcMAP, Infor and Pole foreman preferred, but not requiredHave reliable transportation.Resilient and self-motivated: You are always striving to build upon previous successes.Detail oriented: The little things matter!Collaborative: When we all succeed, we’re better for it!Not quite right for you?
