This key role will deliver a variety of projects within the extraction, manufacturing, energy, and waste fields of the Roadstone business. This role will report to the Director of Planning, Environment and property.Key Areas Of ResponsibilityManagement of a range of planning application projects for various developments including extraction, manufacturing, and waste developmentsManagement of consultants involved in the preparation of planning applications, waste licences, trade discharge licencesReviewing and editing technical reports in relation planning applications, EIAR, AA, waste licence applications, trade discharge applicationAdvising on planning compliance within the companyThe following knowledge, skills and competencies are desirable for this role:Environmental or related 3rd level qualificationAn ability to communicate at all levels to achieve the best outcome for the organisation.Good report writing skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated, and results oriented.Trustworthy team player with an ability to work on own initiative.Strong organisational and administrative skills.Detail orientated with an ability to operate to strict timelines/deadlines.Good IT skills (Microsoft Office).This is a pivotal role within Roadstone and requires a detail-oriented individual with strong initiative and a collaborative approach.The ideal candidate will be dedicated to personal, company, and group success, and thrive in a dynamic, performance-focused environment.Closing date: close of business 10th November 2025Skills NeededAbout The CompanyRoadstone’s nationwide business includes the manufacture and distribution of a wide range of construction products including ready-mix concrete, aggregates, asphalt and macadam, mortar and plaster, concrete blocks and masonry, paving products, roof tiles and agricultural lime.
