AI/ML Python Development Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Python Development Team Lead to join our cutting-edge AI project, which empowers businesses to create seamless conversational experiences across text, chat, and voice interfaces. In this role, you will lead a team of skilled engineers, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our AI platform's Python libraries. This position requires deep expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Natural Language Processing, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with the client on a daily basis.

ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of 10 Python & Java engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellenceDefine, optimize, and implement efficient workflows and development processes to enhance team productivityDevelop, maintain, and improve technical documentation for clarity and consistencyEstablish and refine team coordination processes, ensuring alignment with project goalsImplement monthly updates for Deep Learning Python libraries, addressing security vulnerabilities and maintaining stabilityMaintain and enhance ODA’s Python libraries, ensuring security, reliability, and compatibilityImprove test coverage for Python libraries to enhance reliability and maintainabilityCommunicate daily with the client, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring smooth collaborationRequirements5+ years of relevant experience in Python development1+ years of leadership experience, including mentoring engineers and managing project workflowsStrong programming skills in Python (Java knowledge is a plus)Expertise in NLP and Deep Learning, including hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and TransformersExperience with Python libraries such as Pydantic, AIOHTTP, urllib3, Cryptography, etc.

Build and dependency management skills, including Poetry, PIP, and familiarity with Maven and GradleStrong understanding of secure coding practices and experience addressing security vulnerabilitiesExcellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills to support iterative development processesStrong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and cross-functional teamsAvailability between 9: 00 AM – 10: 00 AM CET (depending on location) until 6:
