We are the exclusive offshore wind development partner to Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, the world’s largest green energy fund.The RoleAs EPC Director, you will be the strategic and operational leader responsible for driving the successful delivery of high-value offshore wind projects from late-stage development through financial close, construction, and handover to operations.You will define and manage integrated execution strategies for multi-contract scopes—encompassing turbines, foundations, cables, substations, grid connection, and logistics—ensuring alignment with project goals and investor expectations.Leveraging your leadership and commercial acumen, you'll negotiate and manage EPC and supply chain contracts, lead cross‑functional teams through complex execution phases, and instill industry-leading HSE and quality standards.As the primary senior stakeholder interface, you'll influence outcomes across public authorities, utility partners, investors, and contractors, while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks through structured governance and continuous improvement.Your Key Responsibilities Will Include Act as the overall EPC lead for one or more major offshore wind projects in Korea, accountable for the integrated scope across foundations, cables, turbines, substations, grid connection, and logistics. Develop and implement project execution strategies that balance cost, schedule, risk, and quality while ensuring strict alignment with COP and investor expectations. Build, lead, and inspire large multi-disciplinary teams, including internal specialists and external partners, fostering collaboration across engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, quality, and commercial functions. Drive contractor engagement and negotiation, overseeing complex EPC and supply chain contracts to secure best-in-class solutions and value for stakeholders. Ensure world-class HSE standards and a strong safety-first culture across all contractors, vessels, and worksites. Serve as the key interface with senior stakeholders, including investors, government authorities, utilities, and local communities. Anticipate, manage, and mitigate project risks by applying structured risk management methodologies and ensuring robust governance. Provide strategic leadership and act as a mentor for upcoming leaders within the COP organization. Your ExperienceWe are seeking an accomplished leader with a proven track record in large-scale infrastructure projects. You bring not only project management, technical and commercial competences but also strategic vision and leadership presence. Academic background: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related discipline; additional qualifications in business, project management, or leadership are advantageous. Industry expertise: Significant experience (10+ years) in delivering major EPC projects from Financial Investment Decision (FID) to Commercial Operations Date (COD), ideally in offshore wind, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure such as oil & gas, power, or marine construction. Project leadership: Demonstrated success in leading multi-billion-dollar, multi-contract projects through development and execution, with accountability for scope, budget, schedule, and risk. Health, Safety & Environmental leadership : An unwavering commitment to excellence in HSE. Leadership excellence in developing and sustaining a strong HSE culture within the project including all supply chain levels. Commercial and contractual acumen: In-depth knowledge of EPC contract structures, supply chain dynamics, and financial drivers of large infrastructure projects. Stakeholder management: A strong ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders across government, regulators, suppliers, investors, and local communities. Project management excellence: Familiarity with international standards such as PMI, IPMA, or PRINCE2, and experience applying structured governance and stage-gate processes. Leadership qualities: Inspirational leadership style, proven ability to build and guide large teams, and a collaborative, proactive way of working. Global mindset: Cultural awareness, adaptability, and experience working in international environments; Korean language skills are an advantage but not required.
