At Sustainly, we are building the single source of truth for non-financial data in manufacturing.A core component of our platform is our EPD generator, enabling companies to produce compliant, scalable Environmental Product Declarations without the traditional manual overhead.We are now looking for an EPD Specialist to take ownership of this module and mature it into the most efficient, trustworthy EPD engine in the market.The MissionYour responsibility is to ensure that our EPD generator is:Methodologically robustCompliant with relevant PCRs and standardsScalable across product portfoliosSignificantly more efficient than traditional workflowsToday, Sustainly can reduce the cost and time of producing EPDs by 80%+, while increasing the value of the underlying data. Your mission is to push that even further.What You Will DoOwn the EPD module end-to-endDefine feature requirements based on real-world EPD workflowsTranslate LCA/EPD methodology into scalable software logicImprove automation across data mapping, calculation flows, and documentationEnsure technical integrityQuality assure calculations and AI-supported data structuringValidate alignment with ISO 14025, EN 15804, and relevant PCR frameworksStress test data models across different manufacturing setupsEnable customer successHelp customers structure product and emissions data correctlyGuide companies transitioning from consultant-driven EPDs to in-house capabilityEnsure outputs are verification-readyYou’re a Strong Fit If You:Have hands-on experience producing EPDs (consultancy or in-house)Understand LCA modelling and the pain of fragmented dataCare deeply about methodological correctness and transparencyWant to systematize and automate what is currently a manual processAre excited to shape a product — not just execute reportsIf you’ve ever thought, “There must be a better way to do this than endless spreadsheets and PDF formatting,” this role is likely for you.Why Join Sustainly?1.
