You will be working in the technical support team in our R&D unit located in Helsinki, Finland. As an Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our advanced thermal and plasma ALD tools. Your work will be critical to ensuring maximum tool uptime and seamless execution of R&D projects. We are looking for someone who’s self-driven, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and corrective maintenance of thermal and plasma ALD equipmentCollaborate with Process Engineers to resolve hardware and process related issuesConduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions for equipment failuresSupport the installation and qualification of new equipment and facility upgradesAssist in spare parts and chemical inventory managementDocument completed work with clear and concise technical reportingEnsure compliance with safety and clean room protocolsSkillsWe are looking for someone who has the following knowledge and experience:Bachelor’s degree or higher in the field of engineering or science with +1 years of relevant experienceUnderstanding of vacuum technology and mechanical systems (e.g., gas lines, heaters, pumps)Experience working with chemicals is a plusFamiliarity with thin film deposition techniques such as ALD and PECVD is a plusAwareness of safety measures of working in semiconductor environmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and process flow diagramsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsFluent written and verbal communication skills in English is requiredApply Today To Be Part Of What’s Next.We make the tech that enables the chips in devices which improve lives around the world.
