This is typically an entry-level or pre-MBA role with exposure to all aspects of the PE workflow. Mega Alpha Fund is Equiturn’s flagship private equity platform built to acquire, control, and scale elite sports franchises and entertainment assets globally. With a targeted fund size of $1–1. 5 billion, it deploys discretionary capital into high-profile opportunities across the NBA, EPL, NFL, F1, and other top-tier leagues, leveraging proprietary deal flow, athlete partnerships, and deep capital market infrastructure to institutionalize sports ownership as an investable asset class. Key Responsibilities: Conduct top-down and bottom-up market sizing exercises.
Build summary profiles for inbound deals including red flag assessments. Maintain CRM and pipeline tracking tools. Assist with portfolio company valuation updates and liquidity models. Prepare internal investment committee templates and presentations. Support quarterly investor letter inputs and performance dashboards. Compile and verify third-party data sources (CapIQ, PitchBook, Preqin). Monitor sector news and M&A trends, and summarize findings weekly. Complete SDSU.
