Equity Fund Manager (US Tech & AI)

Our client operates with a flat structure, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong alignment of interests between the investment team and principals.We are looking for a seasoned Equity Fund Manager to lead our U.S. Tech & AI equity portfolio, managing assets of at least USD 200 million. The ideal candidate brings a blend of institutional investment discipline and startup-style agility — someone who can identify disruptive trends early, move with conviction, and deliver sustained outperformance.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio LeadershipTake full ownership of the U.S. Tech & AI equity portfolio, driving investment strategy, allocation, and performance.Build and manage concentrated positions in high-conviction names across public and late-stage private markets.Maintain dynamic exposure and manage risk actively to optimize returns.Research & Idea GenerationConduct deep, bottom-up fundamental research on technology and AI companies, including emerging leaders and pre-IPO opportunities.Identify key innovation themes — from semiconductors and cloud infrastructure to generative AI and robotics — and translate insights into actionable investments.Leverage startup, venture, and industry networks for early intelligence on market shifts.Execution & MonitoringExecute trades efficiently with a focus on timing, liquidity, and risk-reward balance.Track portfolio performance and market developments, making nimble adjustments where needed.Provide clear, concise updates to principals and investment committee.Collaboration & NetworkWork closely with analysts, data specialists, and external partners to enhance research depth.Build strategic relationships with founders, venture investors, and sector specialists.Represent the firm in relevant industry discussions and investor networks when required.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.CFA or equivalent professional qualification preferred Minimum 10 years of experience in equity investing, with a proven track record in U.S. tech and AI sectors.Prior experience managing a portfolio of USD 200 million or more, ideally within a concentrated or high-conviction mandate.Strong familiarity with the startup and venture ecosystem, with the ability to assess crossover and late-stage opportunities.Proficient in financial modeling, valuation, and performance attribution.A high-conviction investor with independent judgment and intellectual curiosity.Comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving environment with direct exposure to decision-makers.Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and self-driven — you thrive without heavy bureaucracy.Passionate about innovation, technology, and the future of AI.Singaporeans only.
