Equity Research Analyst

Tasks and responsibilities  Undertake research on a wide variety of sector and companies, across various industries and countries using multiple sources.  Present your investment ideas in a concise and clear manner.  Carry out ad hoc research projects.Build and create financial models  Assist in monthly reporting and presentations.  Travel as and when needed.Qualifications and experience  You might have a couple of years experience already as an analyst or be looking to build a career in the industry.  You must have a passion for markets and be able to express that through actions and communication.  You should be able to think critically, gather and analyse information from a wide variety of sources, and incorporate those into your ideas.  Strong interpersonal and communications skills are a must and you should be able to work unsupervised.  You should be software proficient in Excel including modelling ana data analysis.  An understanding of Bloomberg is helpful although not critical.  You will have at least an undergraduate degree, preferably in finance.
