ERP SQA Engineer

Company Description:Our client is a Pakistan-based IT consulting firm with 30+ years experience delivering enterprise solutions to public, private, and donor-funded sectors. Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SQA Engineer with a strong background in testing larger, complex systems such as ERP platforms, rather than just mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing within a Java environment. The role involves designing and executing test strategies, creating detailed test cases, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain manual and automated testing strategies for large-scale, web-based and ERP systems.Design detailed test cases and scripts for both manual and automated testing using tools such as JUnit and Selenium.Execute test cases, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with the development team.Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.Prepare and maintain QA and SIT documentation for software releases.Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, track, and resolve defects efficientlyProvide clear reporting of test progress, coverage, and outcomes to stakeholders.Requirements:Bachelor's in BSSE, BSCS, or a related field.4+ years of professional experience as an SQA Engineer or in a similar QA role.Proven experience testing large-scale, complex systems (ERP or enterprise-level platforms), not just mobile applications.Strong knowledge of Java and web-based application testing.Familiarity with SQL (optional but preferred).Hands-on experience with JUnit and Selenium for automation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile development environment.Excellent communication skills Other Details:Experience: 4+ years Timings: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Work Days: Monday - Friday Location: DHA, Karachi Benefits: Hospitalization Medical Card
