About The RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team in our Wangara office and support the delivery of upcoming projects through effective contract and commercial administration.

As the Contracts Administrator, you will report to the Senior Contracts Administrator and play a key role in ensuring contract compliance, managing procurement processes, and supporting tender submissions. You will work closely with internal project teams and external stakeholders to administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle—contributing to the successful commercial performance of our projects by managing risk, ensuring timely processing of variations and claims, and maintaining accurate contract documentation. Other Key Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited ToSupporting contract administration activities across various projects in accordance with company procedures and contractual obligations.

Assisting in the development, negotiation, and administration of head contracts and subcontractor/vendor agreements. Managing payment claims processes, including preparation and tracking for both head contracts and vendors. Collaborating with Procurement and Legal teams to ensure contract terms are accurately reflected and compliant with internal standards. Supporting the assessment and approval of contract variations and claims, both to clients and from subcontractors. Working with the procurement team to establish and manage term agreements with vendors and suppliers. Providing commercial input to project and tender teams, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project outcomes.

Identifying and resolving potential contractual and commercial issues through critical thinking and proactive problem-solving. Ensuring safety, quality, and environmental considerations are integrated into daily activities and contract programming. To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or a related discipline (desirable). Proven experience within the construction industry, with a solid understanding of relevant legislation and contract law. Confidence in managing contract negotiations and issuing contractual notices. High attention to detail with a strong focus on documentation accuracy and compliance. MUST hold valid Australian Working Rights.
