Collect, validate, analyze, and present market, industry, and competitor intelligence to support strategic decision-making across ESET. Provide actionable business intelligence to support Test and Analyst Relations activities. Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand research needs and translate them into research designs, both qualitative and quantitative. Design and implement research studies, from initial scoping and questionnaire design to final reporting. Program surveys using internal survey tools and collaborate with external research providers to ensure high data quality. Analyze research data using statistical software and interpret results to generate clear, actionable insights.
Deliver insights in digestible formats, such as PowerPoint presentations, dashboards, and written reports tailored for business leaders. Translate analyst reports and independent test results into concise, usable insights for ESET’s Global Marketing, Sales Enablement and regional teams. Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives with Technology, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal research processes and knowledge sharing within the department. Qualifications & ExperienceEducationUniversity degree in economics, statistics, sociology, IT, or a related field (e. g. , behavioral economics, market research, data science). Required SkillsMinimum 7 years of professional experience in one of following roles:
IT, business, consulting, analytics or similar areaFluent English (C1 or higher) with excellent writing and summarization skills. Strong command of PowerPoint, Excel, Word (Office 365) to build professional reports and visualizations. Experience conducting qualitative interviews and focus groups in English. Capable of independently handling complex RFIs (Requests for Information) and preparing/leading briefings and inquiry calls with analyst firms. Strong cross-functional communication skills; ability to work across departments including Tech, Marketing, and Sales. Experience designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative research, either independently or collaboratively. Working knowledge of basic statistical tests (e. g. , descriptive analysis, correlations, t-tests).
Familiarity with survey tools (e. g. , SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Google Forms, LimeSurvey). Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. Preferred/Bonus SkillsProficiency in BI/reporting tools (e. g. , Qlik Sense, Power BI). Experience using statistical software (e. g. , SPSS, R, Python for data analysis). Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools. Background in brand tracking, market share analysis, or financial forecasting. Previous experience working with external research agencies. Knowledge or demonstrated interest in IT, cybersecurity, or technology sectors is highly advantageous.
