Position OverviewThe ESG Officer supports the implementation of environmental, social, and governance programs to ensure alignment with corporate strategy, regulations, and international standards. The role bridges field operations and corporate ESG initiatives through compliance monitoring, data analysis, and reporting. GIS proficiency is highly valued to enhance ESG visualization and performance tracking.Key Responsibilities:Ensure compliance with national (e.g., AMDAL, ISO 14001) and international ESG standards (IFC, ISO, ICMC, etc.).Translate BOD ESG directives into actionable plans and initiatives.Coordinate with internal departments and site teams to identify and mitigate environmental and social risks.Collaborate with Indika Energy’s ESG team to align strategies and reporting.Develop ESG reports and dashboards, leveraging GIS for spatial and visual analysis.Monitor ESG roadmap progress and alignment with corporate plans.Support development of GIS-integrated ESG dashboards and visual communication tools.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Social Development, or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, or environmental/social assessment (preferably in mining).Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, sustainability standards, and regulatory compliance.Proficient in GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).Excellent communication, analytical, and coordination skills.Willing to travel to site locations as needed.
