SDO, DRG, diagnosi, interventi, ricoveri, dati sanitari e flussi informativi) giocherai un ruolo fondamentale nel migliorare le prestazioni e l'accuratezza dei prodotti di codifica di Solventum.Ecco alcune responsabilità. Here, you will make an impact by:Algorithm Improvement: Contribute with your coding expertise to the continuous refinement of our algorithms within Solventum’s coding solutionsTest Corpus Management: Lead the creation and expansion of various test corpora, including: Classification sets, Gold standard sets, Customer feedback sets and Top codes sets.Corpus Quality Assurance: Examine current literals within the test corpora to identify areas for improvement. Create new, relevant literals to ensure comprehensive coverage of classification options and assign the appropriate codes. Update existing literals as necessary to reflect changes in classification, coding agreements, or customer requirements.Clinical Document Handling: code both simple literals and full medical records, using ICD9/10, always adhering to data security and privacy regulationsCustomer Collaboration: Engage in discussions around customer coding practices and feedback to ensure our solutions align with real-world needsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations.Your Skills And ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Successfully completed training in Medical Coding, with hands-on experience in healthcare documentation and billing systemsProficiency in logical reasoning and semantic structuring, with an interest in improving data classification and interpretation processesFluent in Italian and English, with excellent communication skills in both professional and technical contextsSkilled in ICD9 coding; ICD10 knowledge and/or experience very well receivedStrong understanding of medical terminology and anatomyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCertification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) is preferredExperience with coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systemsExpectationsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detail in coding.Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.Strong problem-solving skills.Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Work location: Italy, RemoteJob Duties allow for the majority of work to be performed remotely.
