Job Title: Laser Skin Therapist Department: Aesthetic Dermatology Location: Hargeisa, Somalia Reports to: Clinic Manager / Consultant Dermatologist Employment Type: Full-time Role Summary: We are looking for a certified and skilled Laser Skin Therapist to perform and assist in a wide range of laser and non-invasive aesthetic procedures. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in laser technologies and skin treatments, with a strong focus on client safety, results, and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:   Laser & Skin Treatments  Perform aesthetic laser procedures including: o Laser Hair Removal (LHR) o Laser Skin Rejuvenation (e.g., Q-switched, fractional, CO2) o Pigmentation reduction o Acne and scar treatments o Tattoo removal (if applicable)  Assist dermatologist during energy-based or injectable treatments when required  Monitor clients’ response to treatments and adjust settings as per skin type and protocol  Maintain high hygiene standards and pre-/post-treatment care  Client Consultation & Education  Conduct skin analysis and patch tests to determine appropriate treatment plans  Educate clients on treatment protocols, expected results, and post-care instructions  Maintain client records, consent forms, and progress notes accurately  Follow-up on client outcomes and satisfaction Operational & Administrative Duties  Calibrate and maintain laser equipment as per manufacturer protocols  Ensure treatment rooms are cleaned, disinfected, and stocked with supplies  Manage inventory of consumables and raise requirements to Clinic Manager  Adhere strictly to health, safety, and regulatory compliance Qualifications & Experience:  Diploma or Certification in Laser Therapy / Aesthetic Cosmetology / Beauty Therapy  Valid license or training certification in aesthetic laser use (as per local regulations)  Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a dermatology or aesthetics clinic preferred  Knowledge of skin types (Fitzpatrick scale) and laser safety protocols Skills & Competencies:  Strong technical skills with aesthetic lasers and skincare equipment  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills  Customer service orientation and a professional demeanor  Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive skin concerns  Team player, punctual, and disciplined in following protocols Please send your CV and academic Doc's email jobs@mogajobs.com before 15th NOV 2025
