Estimation Manager

ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the estimation function for large-scale and technically complex construction projects, including residential communities, sports stadiums, airports, museums, and mixed-use developments.Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates.Develop detailed BOQs, cost breakdowns, and pricing strategies in coordination with design, engineering, and procurement teams.Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to clarify scope and ensure accurate bid submissions.Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.Oversee pre-tender and post-tender activities, including value engineering, risk assessment, and bid finalization.Maintain a comprehensive cost database, benchmarking historical data for future reference.Support management in strategic bid decisions and provide input on cost impacts, margins, and project feasibility.Supervise and mentor the estimation team, ensuring adherence to company policies, accuracy standards, and deadlines.Coordinate with the project management and finance teams to align estimated costs with project budgets and profitability targets.RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.Minimum of 10–15 years of estimation experience in the UAE or GCC construction industry, with proven exposure to large-scale residential and complex projects.Strong background in pricing high-value projects such as villa communities, stadiums, airports, and museums.Proficiency in estimation software such as Candy, CostX, or similar tools.Deep understanding of construction methods, material specifications, market rates, and local contracting practices.Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight tender deadlines.Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing estimation teams.
