Estimator

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join a busy team delivering high-quality construction, fit-out, and refurbishment projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, supporting project planning, and ensuring commercial success across a variety of projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for construction, fit-out, and refurbishment projects, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify project scope, risks, and opportunities.Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to obtain quotes and ensure estimates are comprehensive and competitive.Maintain and update cost databases, project records, and tender documentation.Support project managers in bid preparation, tender submissions, and commercial negotiations.Skills & Experience:Proven experience as a Construction Estimator, with exposure to fit-out, refurbishment, or building projects.Strong knowledge of construction processes, finishes, materials, and cost structures.Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Proficient in estimating software and MS Office.Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.To apply for this, please send your CV to mcoleman@designandbuild.com.au or call me on 0432107449
