About IA SolutionsIA Solutions delivers specialist rope-access, inspection and remedial maintenance services across New Zealand, offering safe, efficient and compliant solutions for high-risk access and height safety systems.Role PurposeAs an Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate and competitive cost estimates for complex rope-access, inspection, maintenance, remedial, and height-safety projects. You will work in several sectors including·      Construction·      High rise residential and commercial building maintenance and remedial·      Infrastructure·      IndustrialYou will collaborate with operations, wider management, and field teams to develop quotes and estimates that are technically sound, compliant, and commercially viable.You will be responsible for the companies’ tenders and proposals. Producing accurate price estimates with technical superiority, thorough information and communication on non-price attributes, in presentable documents and packages.Key Responsibilities• Prepare detailed cost estimations and tender proposals • Review technical drawings and project scopes, review workscopes and information captured by field staff or sales personel • Conduct risk analysis and pricing strategy development • Collaborate with project teams to validate assumptions and resources • Engage with clients, engineers, and subcontractors • Lead post-tender negotiations and support project handoversSkills & Qualifications• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or Engineering (preffered but not essential) • 5+ years’ experience in industrial or construction estimating and quoting • Proficient with Excel, Simpro, or equivalent tools • Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills • Understanding of NZ construction codes and height-safety standards Benefits• Competitive salary and growth opportunities • Exposure to large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects • Supportive team culture focused on safety and technical excellence
