Our client is looking for a hands-on, high-agency Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead global engineering and infrastructure teams. This role is ideal for a technical leader who still writes code, thrives on complex system architecture, and is energized by leading through execution. This is not a figurehead role; we’re looking for someone who lives at the intersection of code, strategy, and leadership. You will guide engineering standards, own product infrastructure, and lead integration efforts across a diverse product portfolio, all while pushing our AI and automation capabilities forward.
Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the technical vision and lead global engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams (37+ FTEs across India, Argentina, Eastern Europe and the US)Design and scale platform architecture across a diverse tech stack: Ruby on Rails, Ember, JavaScript, PHP, . NET, Node. js, ReactManage integration of legacy and modern systems across multiple acquired companiesPartner with product leaders to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions, but remain focused on engineering execution over product strategyChampion AI and machine learning initiatives, incorporating automation, LLMs, and data science into product features and internal toolingImplement rigorous engineering practices and drive architectural consistency and excellenceLead by doing:
code reviews, mentoring, technical design sessions, and solving complex technical challenges directlyFoster a high-velocity, performance-driven engineering culture while mentoring and growing technical talent globallyWhat We’re Looking For10–20 years of experience in engineering with progressive technical leadership rolesCurrently coding and capable of jumping in and demonstrating technical excellenceDeep understanding of software architecture, infrastructure, systems integration, and cloud deployment across AWS, Azure, and GCPPassion for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation; you should be “obsessed with the robots”High drive and intellectual horsepower; you push the pace, lead with urgency, and bring clarity to chaosPrior experience leading globally distributed, remote teamsExperience with M&A integration, technical due diligence, or scaling platforms post-acquisition is a strong plusA pragmatic approach to modernization; balancing technical debt with product velocity
