One of our flagship partnerships is with the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM), which leads the Department for Education’s Maths Hubs Programme - supporting thousands of schools across England. You’ll be part of a tight-knit, fast-moving marketing team, working 80% of your time with NCETM and 20% supporting Etio’s brand and digital communications. The Role: Digital Marketing ExecutiveThis is a creative, hands-on role for someone who loves making content that cuts through.
Working with the Design and Digital Manager, you’ll work on the delivery of social media and digital content, contributing to everything from newsletters and video clips to bold visuals and campaign assetsWe’re looking for a self-starter with an eye for design, strong copywriting instincts, and a sense of what good digital engagement looks like. One day you might be filming a teacher at a Maths Hubs event, the next you’re building a Mailchimp campaign or editing a reel that showcases real impact.
You’ll work closely with the wider comms and marketing team, supporting campaigns that speak to teachers, leaders, policymakers, and sector partners - helping us get the right message to the right audience at the right time. You Will:
Manage and grow NCETM’s social media presence, planning, creating and scheduling posts that drive real engagementCapture and edit high-quality visuals and video content for newsletters, social media, and campaignsSupport the NCETM website with updates, uploads, and new content as neededContribute to the creation of newsletters, case studies, and other comms that showcase what’s workingUse tools like Adobe Creative Cloud and Instagram Reels to bring campaigns to life visuallyMonitor digital performance and report on what’s landing, where we’re growing, and where to focusSupport Etio’s marketing campaigns with design, email marketing and event contentUse platforms like Mailchimp, Hootsuite, HubSpot or Canva to implement and support digital deliveryAssist with in-person and virtual events, including photo/video capture and asset creationLiaise with suppliers, manage basic admin tasks, and support day-to-day marketing coordinationWhat You Bring:
Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone for different platforms and audiencesDemonstrable skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro (or similar)Basic video editing skills (think Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts - you know the rhythm and the reach)A good eye for layout, typography, and visual storytellingA proactive approach – you’re organised, independent, and happy juggling deadlines across teamsClear communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote working environmentsSome understanding of how to manage content calendars and align them to brand goalsQualificationsEssential: Degree-level qualification or relevant professional training (CIM, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, etc.
