Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Finance Analyst with a strong accounting background, advanced Excel skills, and an uncompromising eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be meticulous and able to manage tight deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.
This role requires a positive, can-do spirit, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to solve problems quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & ReportingProvide financial analysis, KPIs, metrics and other financial data to the operation or sales leadersPrepare and review certain accrualsMaintain fully documented, audit-ready account schedules and supporting materialsReview month end financial statements, and assist with certain AR functions and review of accrualsRespond to requests of management, laboratories, accounting, and clients for financial informationServe as financial advisor to business unitsExcel-Driven Financial Analysis & ModelingBuild and maintain advanced Excel models for financial analysis, incorporating:
• Complex formulas (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, SUMPRODUCT, etc.
) • Pivot tables, pivot charts, and other advanced data analysis techniques • Scenario and sensitivity analysis • Automation using macros or VBA (preferred but not required)Develop dashboards and templates that update automatically from multiple data sourcesProactively troubleshoot model issues and streamline processes for better efficiencyProcess Improvement, Problem-Solving & Data IntegrityIdentify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy and reduce turnaround timesApply analytical thinking and creativity to resolve issues before they impact resultsMaintain rigorous controls and documentation to ensure data is always reliableCollaboration, Communication & AttitudeCommunicate clearly and professionally with stakeholdersMaintain a positive, can-do attitude even under pressure, focusing on solutions rather than obstaclesWork collaboratively across teams, building strong relationships and trustDemonstrate reliability, meeting deadlines consistently while upholding quality standardsWith additional responsibilities as needed.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldRelevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial analysisExpert-level Excel skills, with proven ability to work confidently with complex formulas, large datasets, and automationStrong understanding of GAAP (IFRS a plus) and its application in business settingsProven track record of delivering accurate work under tight deadlinesExceptional attention to detail and a solutions-oriented approachExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPositive, can-do mindset with strong problem-solving abilitiesExperience with ERP systems (e. g.
