European group controller

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for an European Group Controller for a permanent position based in Flemish Brabant.Our client is a fast growing company active in the media sector.As European Group Controller you will be responsible for:• Overseeing month-end close and consolidation processes;• Ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial results;• Preparing internal financial statements and reports; preparing semi-annual financial reporting for parent company;• Conducting account reconciliations and analysis;• Assisting in special projects as needed;• Managing Senior and Staff Accountants;• Ad hoc projects : key role in ERP implementation.The required profile for the European Group Controller position:• A Master degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration;• At least 2 years of experience in external audit or in business controlling positions;• Knowledge of USGaap is a plus; • Fluency in English and in Dutch is necessary, other European language is a plus;• The ideal candidate is IT literate and has a good ERP understanding;• The right candidate is an open-minded and accurate team player with a strong work ethics.Interested in this position of European Group Controller at a young and dynamic company?
