This position is located in Cincinnati, Ohio and offers comprehensive benefits, a hybrid work schedule, a friendly, family-oriented work environment and potential for career growth. About this Role:We are seeking a dynamic Event Coordinator to join our Events Team and contribute to the success of our industry-leading events. Gardner manages an annual portfolio of 10–12 events, including tradeshows, conferences, workshops, and corporate receptions. The Event Coordinator will oversee multiple events across various manufacturing markets, requiring strong multitasking abilities, travel flexibility, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assisting in the planning and execution of a suite of events, including conferences, meetings, and tradeshowsTraveling to events as requiredCoordinating and collecting speaker and agenda materials before, during, and after eventsManaging vendor relationships, including audiovisual, catering, contractors, venues, entertainment, and securityBuilding and maintaining event registration platformsManaging event-related website content and updatesEnsuring smooth onsite event executionHandling contracts and data entryManaging sponsorships and/or exhibits, including customer service supportPerforming general administrative Event Coordinator Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience1–3 years of experience in event planning or marketingStrong organizational and time management skillsProficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills a plusExperience with website builders is a plusFamiliarity with event registration software preferredHigh attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of an event team Why Join Gardner Business Media?Gardner Business Media is a leading, family-owned B2B media company dedicated to delivering innovative content and events that empower professionals in manufacturing and related industries.
