Job Description

Legal Soft is seeking an Event Director to oversee our national conference and event strategy. This role manages the full lifecycle of events — from planning, logistics, and promotion to onsite execution and post-event ROI reporting.The Event Director will work closely with the sales team to ensure that representatives are fully prepared for each event, while also collaborating with marketing to deliver booth assets, flyers, pre- and post-event campaigns, and follow-up strategies. The ideal candidate has proven experience running successful B2B events and understands how to maximize ROI from conferences and trade shows.Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & StrategyDevelop and manage Legal Soft’s annual conference and event calendar.Own end-to-end planning for each event, including budgeting, vendor management, logistics, and timelines.Evaluate and recommend event opportunities that align with company growth goals.Collaborate with leadership on event selection based on ROI potential.Execution & Sales AlignmentPartner with the sales team to ensure representatives attending events are fully prepared with scripts, schedules, and collateral.Oversee booth design, setup, tear-down, and overall onsite presence.Manage travel, accommodations, and registration for staff attending events.Act as the on-site point of contact for sales reps, vendors, and event organizers.Marketing & Promotional AssetsOversee the creation of pre-event campaigns to drive booth traffic and visibility.Ensure all event collateral (booth displays, signage, brochures, flyers, giveaways) is brand-consistent and ready on time.Coordinate post-event marketing campaigns to nurture leads and re-engage attendees.Collaborate with marketing on digital campaigns surrounding each event (email, social, retargeting).Lead Management & ROI ReportingWork with sales and marketing to capture, track, and report on all leads generated from events.Measure ROI across key metrics: cost per lead, cost per acquisition, and revenue contribution.Deliver detailed post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements.Qualifications4+ years of event planning and management experience, ideally in B2B conferences, legal-tech, SaaS, or professional services.Proven success in managing end-to-end events and delivering measurable ROI.Strong vendor negotiation, logistics, and onsite event management skills.Experience aligning events with sales and marketing teams to maximize performance.Excellent organizational and project management abilities with attention to detail.Strong communication and leadership skills; able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Proficiency in CRM and marketing platforms (HubSpot preferred).Success MetricsROI of each event (revenue generated vs. costs).Number and quality of leads captured per event.Sales team preparedness and performance feedback.Engagement rates of pre- and post-event marketing campaigns.On-time and on-budget delivery of all event logistics.
