Every day, we work on solutions that enable safer, smarter and more connected financial ecosystems.To support our growing commercial and marketing ambitions, we are looking for an Events Manager who can elevate Akkuro’s presence across Europe. You will drive the planning and execution of high-impact events, ranging from conferences and roundtables to customer gatherings and industry engagements that strengthen our brand, accelerate pipeline and deepen relationships with partners and clients.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creating memorable experiences and brings a structured yet creative approach to event delivery.What you’ll doProject ManagementLead end-to-end event planning meetings with clear agendas and follow-up actionsServe as the main liaison between marketing, sales and business line managersManage speaker and partner/sponsor engagementDevelop and maintain event processes, templates and documentationBuild and manage detailed project timelines, deliverables and scopes of workEnsure internal objectives and commercial goals are understood and metCoordinate internal kick-offs and post-event evaluationsCreate and maintain event case studies and best practicesManage event budgets and cost controlEvent ManagementDeliver operational excellence across all physical and digital eventsIdentify and secure venues that align with event objectivesManage suppliers, venues and production partnersInfluence event design, experience flow and productionOwn all logistics, including accommodation, catering, signage, staffing and attendee experienceOversee production design, AV requirements and on-site executionWhat you bringHard SkillsPreferably experience in event management within B2B, SaaS or FintechExperience supporting conferences, roundtables, customer events or sponsorship activationsExperience working on international B2B events is an advantagePreferably experience with CRM and marketing systems; some familiarity with HubSpot is a plus, including:Creating event landing pagesSetting up simple email workflows and mailersBuilding event campaigns for tracking and attributionPublishing insight or summary pages following eventsReporting on basic event-driven lead generationAbility to manage suppliers, venues and production partnersStrong budget management capabilitiesExcellent project management skills, including timeline and scope managementStrong eye for detail and organisational abilitiesSoft SkillsStrong collaborator who works seamlessly with Sales, Field Marketing and business line leadersClear communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional and senior stakeholdersCreative, proactive and solution-oriented mindsetAnalytical thinker who can interpret event data and translate insights into improvementsComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environmentAble to work autonomously, manage multiple projects and handle ambiguityWillingness to travel and coordinate across time zones
