Job Summary:We are looking for a creative and highly organized Event Planner to join our hospitality team in Ikeja and Ogudu. The ideal candidates will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all types of events, including corporate functions, weddings, social gatherings, and hotel-based events, ensuring each one runs smoothly and exceeds client expectations.Key Responsibilities:Plan and manage events from concept to completion.Meet with clients to understand their event goals, preferences, and budgets.Coordinate with internal departments (kitchen, front office, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure seamless event delivery.Source and negotiate with vendors, decorators, entertainers, and other service providers.Prepare event proposals, budgets, and timelines.Supervise event setup, execution, and teardown while ensuring quality standards.Handle client inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.Maintain accurate event records and reports for management review.Promote the company’s event services and build relationships with potential clients.Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company policies during all events.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field.Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in event planning or coordination (preferably in hotels or hospitality).Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Creative mindset with attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic event management tools.Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
