One role is a permanent position, and the other is a fixed term role covering parental leave until December 2026. Both roles play a vital part in delivering impactful events that contribute to our strategic goals and enhance our reputation.You will be responsible for designing, planning, coordinating and executing events and engagement activities for the purpose of student recruitment, student retention and stakeholder engagement. You will manage and facilitate the end-to-end delivery of events, including conferences and sponsorship events. You will liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners and vendors, manage expectations and ensure everyone is committed to the event objectives, attendee experience and delivery outcomes.Mōu | Who You AreYou are an experienced Event Coordinator who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Ideally you will have at least 3 years of experience in event planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement gained through on the job experience and a relevant Bachelor's Degree. Your creativity, problem-solving skills, and commitment to upholding cultural practices and traditions set you apart. You have a working knowledge of marketing principles, excellent communication skills, and a strong customer service orientation. Proficiency in project management software is a plus, and competency in te reo Māori me ōna tikanga is highly valued.
