About the roleAs an Events Executive at The Great Room (TGR), you will be responsible for supporting the Events department in organising and executing events designed to cultivate connections and foster friendships.A successful Events Executive will be responsible for bringing the community together via the planned events centred around lifestyle, wellness, business and learning.The Events Executive will report to the Events Manager.What you’ll doEvents ManagementResearch and source for partners and event suppliers for TGR eventsBe the primary contact for event leads for home location(s)Oversee logistics, including vendor coordination, on-site setup, and tear down to ensure all events run smoothly and efficientlySupport monthly community eventsEnsuring SOPs are updated for home location(s)Carry out on-site event management across all locationsAssist in managing the event inventory and equipment across all locationsEvents Revenue KPIDrive event revenue by proactively identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships to achieve monthly sales targetAssist in managing various booking channels and customer enquiriesProactively seek out new event leads within our targeted industries to drive business growthFacilitate sales and upsell events to existing membersAssist in managing various booking channels and customer enquiriesEvents PaymentsManage invoices and member paymentsEnsure timely payment to vendorsCarry out bad debt collection for eventsMarketing EffortsProvide marketing support for lead generating eventsAssist in preparing event-related documents and materialsSupport all marketing initiatives across content creation, members’ engagement and brand-buildingWho you areRequirementsHave a qualification in Events Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Business Management or the equivalentInterested candidates without prior experience are welcome to applyProven track record in event organisation and deliveryProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointQualitiesAble to meet tight deadlines and targets in a fast-paced environmentHave strong organisational and planning skillsGood verbal and written communication skills; confident interacting with vendors, speakers and cross-company teams at all different levels of senioritySelf-starter with a good attitude towards learningWhat’s in it for youCompetitive remunerationCareer progression5-day work week (some weekends or evenings when there is an event)Birthday LeaveMonthly mobile allowanceFlexible benefits for medical and other approved wellness, healthcare activities etc.Beautiful workplace environment that fosters collaboration and interactions with others from a diverse background of culturesOpportunity to work with various teams across regional locationsDoes this sound like you?Interested candidates can connect with us at singapore.careers@thegreatroom.co, with your recent CV.* Note to our talent acquisition partners: Unfortunately, The Great Room cannot accept candidate submissions from partners who we do not have an existing agreement with.
