Events Program ManagerLocation: RemoteContract Length: ~14 MonthsSchedule: 40 hours/weekPay: $50/hr, DOE  The Planet Group is seeking a Events Program Manager to join our well-known lifestyle brand technology client on a roughly 14-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule.Events Program Manager Qualifications:5+ years Event Management experience, including executing an event from start to finishStrong project management skillsValue structure in work, always leave a meeting with clear action items and are able to "control the room."Ability to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and prioritize when multiple concurrent tasks are givenCreative and resourceful, thinking outside of the box and seeking opportunities to improveEager to develop planning toolbox, learn and growExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal collaboration and managing conflict, event marketing communications and post-event reporting to leadershipEvents Program Manager Description:Act as a project manager for select company-wide employee eventsPlan & execute the tactical work and logistics for the assigned program by partnering cross-functionally to create a thoughtful and authentic experienceCoordinate, operationalize and execute complex events on a global scale; most events occur on the same day across multiple locations internationally plus virtualLead planning meetings and document all action items and decisions for redundancy; including cross functional workflows with volunteer ERG committees, AV, Internal Comms, Food, Office Operations, etc.Ideate and source creative programming including speakers and workshop facilitators, hands-on activations, entertainmentEnsure the team’s events are a success by acting as the lead onsite production manager at one of the event’s many locations. Travel may be required.Event assignments may include ERG conferences, annual hackathon or social eventsOther responsibilities include but are not limited to, management of events supplies & storage room, additional administrative tasks as needed #CDM
