EvenUp is hiring a People Operations Associate based in Canada to be our internal subject matter expert and help ensure that our people operations administration is top notch. You will manage our full employee life-cycle including onboarding, internal operations and employee experience.
What you'll do:
Stay up to date with employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure company policies and practices are in complianceCollaborate with HR leadership to implement changes, updates, and new policies to maintain compliance and mitigate riskMaintain HR systems including Rippling, Equitable Health, Checkr, Lattice, and similar to ensure that records are up to date and discoverableDefine and track people metrics to help see around cornersServe as initial point of contact for first tier HR questions on topics including extended health benefits, onboarding, orientation events, policies, processes, and People systemsAdminister HR processes including work permits, performance management, and compliance processesAct as a proactive owner of our people operations processes, automating where you can to prepare us for scaleBring an ownership mentality to all you do–always be thinking about how we can best enable our team to do the best work of their livesWhat we look for:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role at a Canadian company with exposure to complianceAbility to problem solve quickly and effectively, while keeping the needs of the whole business in mindExperience working at a fast-paced technology companyExperience working with HRIS configuration and integrationsExceptional attention to detail and customer-service orientationExcellent written and verbal communicationExceptional time management skills with the ability to juggle shifting prioritiesProfessional discretion and ability to appropriately handle confidential informationNotice to Candidates:
