Job Description

Evogene (NASDAQ: EVGN, TASE: EVGN. TA), a leading Biotech company is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead strategic growth initiatives and support business operations. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, leading complex negotiations, licensing technologies, and tailoring solutions to customer needs. This position reports to the EVP Business Development.  Key Responsibilities:

Develop business models, conduct market analysis, and present opportunities to senior managementIdentify, initiate, and manage strategic partnerships in target marketsFacilitate negotiation processes for significant business deals License proprietary technologies to pharma and biotech companiesAdapt products/technologies to market and customer needsCollaborate closely with internal teams including Product, Development, marketing, and legalRepresent the company at international conferences and meetings with investors and partners Requirements:

Proven 5+ years of experience in business development market analytics within the pharma / biotech industriesSignificant experience supporting deals’ full lifecycle – requiredStrong technological background and deep understanding of life sciences / pharmaExperience in technology licensing – strong advantageExcellent English (native level – advantage)Outstanding interpersonal, marketing-oriented, analytical and negotiation skillsRelevant academic background (Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Biotechnology / Business Administration)·        A self-motivated individual with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and turn action items into enhanced performance.
