The RoleThis is a hands-on developer role for someone who enjoys building real products and seeing them used. You'll work closely with EVONA's Head of AI Integration on a wide range of projects, including internal tools, client-facing platforms, automations, and AI integrations. We’re looking for someone who can take project plans and turn them into working software, with support and guidance on architecture, but full ownership of the build.

You’ll also contribute to planning from a technical perspective and be involved in key decisions around how things are built and deployed. What You’ll Be DoingBuilding, testing and deploying software tools from spec to productionHelping shape the technical approach and offering feedback during planningIntegrating APIs from platforms like Bullhorn, Candidate. ly, and OpenAIManaging hosting, deployments and infrastructure (you’ll help choose the stack)Creating functional, clean frontends for both internal and client-facing toolsTroubleshooting bugs and resolving technical issues with platform partnersBuilding AI-powered agents and tools using modern frameworks (e. g.

LangChain, CrewAI, Assistants API)Providing occasional support on smaller automation tasks or technical fixesWhat We’re Looking ForThis is a great fit for someone who enjoys working in a startup-style environment — curious, self-directed, and open to learning. You’ll need to be comfortable wearing multiple hats and picking up new tools or languages when the project calls for it. There’s a huge amount of room to grow and the chance to work across many domains: AI, APIs, automation, internal tooling, front-end interfaces, and more.

We’d love you to be based somewhere in South Wales or near Bristol, so we can meet in person from time to time for planning sessions or collaborative working days. Day-to-day, you’ll work directly with the Head of AI Integration and have the chance to get stuck into meaningful projects quickly. We’ll also make sure you get a full understanding of how EVONA operates and what matters most to the business, so the work you’re doing always connects back to the bigger picture.
