Job DescriptionThe Executive – General Ledger will execute general ledger operations, ensuring accurate financial records and maintaining strong internal controls. This role involves preparing and managing the financial close process, reconciliations, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations. The Executive will be responsible for making sure all general ledger activities are performed efficiently and in a timely manner.Responsibility:General Ledger Management Prepare accurate and timely financial transactions in the general ledger. Make journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments as required. Adhere to IFRS and maintain compliance with accounting standards. Financial Close & Reporting Prepare for and contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities. Make financial reports such as balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements. Maintain accurate financial data for both internal and external reporting. Reconciliation & Controls Prepare bank, intercompany, and account reconciliations. Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with policies. Make adjustments to resolve accounting discrepancies and variances. Audit & Compliance Prepare documentation and records for internal, statutory, and tax audits. Make sure records are complete and available for audit processes. Adhere to taxation and regulatory compliance requirements. Process Improvement & Automation Identify and prepare improvements for more efficient general ledger processes. Make enhancements to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) where necessary. Prepare and standardize accounting procedures and practices across the organization. Qualification:The ideal Executive – General Ledger should have 2-4 years of experience in financial accounting, general ledger management, and reporting.
