A Leading Plastic Pipes Industry is looking for Executive - Transport (Plastics Factory)Job Description / ResponsibilityContext:To ensure smooth, cost-effective, and compliant transportation operations by monitoring vehicle activities, handling billing, maintaining documentation, and managing driver/helper performance.Job Responsibilities: Track vehicle movement, fuel usage, and route compliance daily. Ensure optimal vehicle utilization and resolve any route or operational issues. Coordinate with dispatch to ensure timely delivery and pickup schedules.· Maintain records of all trip-wise billing and vehicle-wise expenses. Verify transport bills, including hired vehicle bills, for accuracy before approval.· Monitor regular vehicle servicing schedules and ensure timely maintenance. Maintain service logs, repair history, and coordinate with workshops for repairs.· Ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance of all vehicles. Ensure all vehicles have valid and updated papers (registration, fitness, insurance, tax tokens, permits, etc.).· Maintain a master log of vehicle documents and alert on renewal timelines.· Liaise with transport vendors for vehicle hiring based on demand. Maintain proper records of hired vehicle performance and contracts.Supervise driver and helper attendance, behavior, and duty schedules. Ensure adherence to company policies, safety norms, and traffic regulations.
