Contribute to delivering on ASIC's purpose, vision, and strategic priorities to help maintain the integrity of the financial system and protect consumers from harm.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to join the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), to provide dedicated support to one of the most Senior Executives within ASIC.Sydney, Melbourne or CanberraSalary will be commensurate with skills and experience + 15.4% superannuationPermanent opportunity Applications close at 11:59pm AEDT, Sunday 23 November The team The Commission Executive Assistants work closely with the Chair, Commission, CEO and staff in the Commission Executive Office, ASIC Senior Executives, other Executive Assistants across ASIC, and a range of ASIC staff as well as external stakeholders.The roleAs Executive Assistant within ASIC's Commission Executive Office, you will be accountable for:Providing front-line representation and efficient and effective support services to the senior leader often externally facing as well as internally.Ensuring proactive and forward-looking management of the senior leader's daily schedule, forward calendar, meeting commitments, and briefing documentation.Providing advanced administrative support, including prioritising information, drafting correspondence, compiling briefings, and managing documentation and records across digital platforms.Coordination and scheduling of meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including coordinating diaries, room and equipment booking, and collating and distributing meeting material.Coordinating travel and accommodation, and administration of travel related expenditure.Working as part of the Commission Executive Office team, providing EA coverage for other senior leaders as required, coordinating local support for travelling senior leaders, and performing ad-hoc support tasks.About YouWe're seeking an experienced Executive Assistant with a proven track record supporting an organisation's most senior executive in complex, fast-paced environments. You'll bring high-level administrative expertise, advanced technological proficiency, and the professionalism needed to work confidently across government, industry, and regulatory agencies. Your ability to manage competing priorities, anticipate needs, and exercise sound judgement will be pivotal to success in this role.You Will Also DemonstrateAdvanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with SharePoint or similar systemsStrong organisational and time management skillsAnalytical thinking and problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to work autonomously with minimal directionExceptional discretion, integrity, and professionalismExperience preparing papers, briefings, and travel logistics for senior stakeholdersView the position description for more information or click ‘apply' to start your application.
