By keeping her informed, prepared, and focused on what matters most, you'll directly shape the company's trajectory. This role goes beyond traditional admin. Your strategic thinking and proactivity will be essential to the Founder's success. You won't run meetings on her behalf, but you'll know her priorities deeply enough that you could. It's an exceptional opportunity to learn business operations from the inside, without the pressure of being front and center.Founder Operations ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Founder to streamline decision-making, protect her focus, and ensure every hour of her day reflects the company’s highest priorities.Continuously refine and manage the Founder’s calendar to maintain the right balance of strategic focus, client impact, and recovery time.Draft and manage correspondence on the Founder’s behalf, internally and externally, ensuring her voice, tone, and intent are consistently reflected. Using sound judgment and the confidence to make decisions independently.Prepare the Founder with all background and materials for upcoming events, delivering them at the optimum time for preparation.Stay abreast of the logistics of external executive search projects and remain curious about the why behind each move, how clients make decisions, how searches unfold, and how company-building happens.Liaise with consultants on the progress of their projects; a deep understanding of their workflows plays a critical role in strategic calendaring.Understand internal priorities to ensure the Founder maintains the bandwidth to both elevate consultant performance and contribute toward firm-wide initiatives alongside the operations team.Troubleshoot and streamline technology for the Founder — whether coordinating tools, fixing a glitch, or proactively cleaning up and updating systems to keep everything running smoothly.In addition to your responsibilities in founder operations, you will be fully immersed in our founder’s life, combining professional coordination with important internal and external stakeholders at the firm (www.colegroup.com) with personal and family logistics.
