Executive Operations DirectorHighly successful, culturally distinctive hospitality group United Kingdomcirca £120,000 annual salary plus up to £50,000 bonus, car and executive benefits packageWe are recruiting an Executive Operations Director for a highly successful, culturally distinctive hospitality group as it moves from a period of stabilisation into its next phase of controlled, predictable growth.Built on strong foundations of experiential hospitality, entertainment-led venues and a people-first partnership model, this award-winning group has developed a unique position within the UK market. Its venues sit at the intersection of late-night culture, grassroots music, competitive socialising and alternative hospitality, attracting a younger, affluent and culturally engaged audience.Operating across a substantial multi-site estate with strong profitability and an ambitious long-term growth plan, the business is now focused on delivering disciplined, sustainable expansion while protecting the cultural DNA that has made it so successful.This role sits at the heart of that next chapter and will shape how the organisation evolves, building scalable systems and infrastructure while championing the creative, experiential culture that defines the brand.Reporting directly to the Group CEO and leading a senior leadership team across property, brand, operations, commercial, people and finance to deliver a clear multi-year growth strategy.We’re looking for someone who has successfully led complex, multi-site hospitality or retail operations at scale and understands how to balance commercial rigour with cultural relevance.The roleYou’ll lead operational performance across a large, multi-site estate, ensuring the organisation is structured, aligned and equipped to deliver sustainable organic growth.A key part of this role is embedding a high-performance sales culture across the estate, strengthening revenue drivers, accountability and performance management while ensuring venues remain culturally relevant, experiential and commercially strong.You’ll oversee significant capital investment programmes, ensuring capital deployment delivers strong ROI while supporting venue evolution, guest experience and long-term estate performance.Working closely with the Group CEO and wider group leadership, you’ll drive alignment between the operating business and the wider organisation, ensuring strategy, systems and ways of working are consistent and scalable.You’ll lead a senior leadership team spanning operations, brand and marketing, commercial, property, people and strategy functions, building clarity of accountability and strengthening leadership capability across the organisation.A core part of the role will be refining the estate strategy, strengthening high-performing venues while simplifying the wider estate where required to ensure a focused, profitable and future-ready portfolio.Strategic and hands-on, you’ll operate comfortably at board level while remaining deeply connected to the venues, teams and culture that underpin the brand’s success.What success looks like in this roleWithin the first 12–18 months, you will have embedded a clear operational rhythm across the estate, strengthening performance culture and delivering consistent organic sales growth across venues.You will have successfully aligned the senior leadership team around clear priorities and accountability, creating clarity between central functions and operational delivery.Capital investment programmes will be deployed effectively, delivering strong returns while enhancing guest experience and strengthening venue performance.You will have helped refine and simplify the estate where necessary, ensuring the portfolio is focused, profitable and positioned for future growth.Operational systems, reporting structures and performance metrics will be embedded across the organisation, creating a more predictable and scalable business.Most importantly, the business will continue to grow commercially while protecting the culture, creativity and experiential energy that makes the brand distinctive within the UK wet-lead and late-night market.Essential experience we’re looking forProven senior leadership experience within large-scale, multi-site hospitality, wet-lead businessesStrong understanding of wet-lead, hospitality or experiential leisure operating modelsExperience managing complex estates and high-volume operations across multiple cities (circa 25-75 locations)Demonstrable success delivering organic sales growth and driving strong P&L performanceExperience leading senior leadership teams across multiple business functionsExperience managing and optimising leasehold or asset-heavy estatesProven ability to lead significant capital investment programmes with clear ROI deliveryExperience building systems, structure and operational discipline within large organisationsComfortable operating in high-energy, entertainment-led hospitality environmentsStrong stakeholder leadership and experience operating within a wider group structureHighly commercial, data-driven and strategically mindedA leader who understands the importance of culture, people and creative energy within hospitalityStrong presence, natural authority and high emotional
