Department: Branch OperationsReports To: Head Branch OperationsBank Grade: VPTotal Position: 01Location: Head Office, IslamabadWhat is Executive Manager Branch Support (South Region) - MMBL?Overall responsible for managing banking operations functions at the regional level.Maintain strong coordination and liaison with BSMs and other reportees to ensure effective execution of responsibilities and achievement of role expectations.Collaborate closely with BSMs to strengthen operational controls in branches through proper implementation of banking operations policies and guidelines.Lead the development, implementation, and tracking of regional-level implementation and change plans.Identify risk areas and weak operational controls in branches and ensure timely corrective actions, including training, supervisory checks, and process improvements.Conduct onsite visits of all branches as per the defined frequency to review operational activities.Monitor and track branch banking operations through periodic BI reports and dashboards.Maintain close monitoring of BSMs’ daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and compliance.Provide support and guidance to BSMs and operational staff for effective execution of the bank’s strategic and operational objectives.Ensure implementation of robust internal controls within branch banking operations and strict adherence to bank policies.Oversee corrective action tracking for issues raised by Internal & External Audits, Review functions, and SBP inspections.What Executive Manager Branch Support (South Region) - MMBL Does?Review, evaluate, and provide functional support for the implementation and revision of operational policies.Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Branch Banking Operations.Lead resource planning, capacity building, and training initiatives for operational staff.Ensure timely hiring and transfers of operational staff in consultation with BSMs/BMs, and actively participate in the interview and assessment process.Build and strengthen the capabilities of branch operations teams through continuous training and development.Conduct volume and capacity analysis to improve efficiency and optimize workforce utilization.Ensure timely reporting of incidents related to fraud, forgery, or operational loss, and establish effective deterrence mechanisms.Promote a strong compliance culture within branches to minimize operational risks and prevent fraudulent activities.Ensure compliance with Consumer Protection Guidelines and Regulations in branch banking operations.Oversee the implementation of Service Quality Guidelines across all branches.Supervise branch operations teams in resolving staff-related issues and internal disputes, fostering inter-functional harmony.Ensure all branches maintain high service quality ratings and operational excellence.What are we looking for and what does it require to be Executive Manager Branch Support (South Region) - MMBL?EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.ExperienceMinimum 7 years of Branch Banking experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role.Strong knowledge of banking operations, regulations, audits, and compliance.Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and meet organizational objectives.Familiarity with SBP policies, prudential regulations, and microfinance products.Experience with Alternate Delivery Channels (ADCs) and digital banking systems.Key SkillsTechnical Skills:Proficiency in MS Office, Core Banking systems, and digital platforms.Strong report writing, business communication, and data management abilities.Core Competencies:Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.Ability to work under pressure and handle complex operational challenges.Sound business acumen with focus on service quality and compliance.High adaptability to evolving technology and regulatory environments.About MMBL:Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd.
