The Clinical Incident and Patient Safety Systems (CIPSS) Manager operates across two portfolios and is responsible for leading and implementing strategic initiatives to develop clinical capabilities across the QAS. This includes leading the development of contemporary and evidence-based programs built on the existing QAS Clinical Incident Management Frameworks and managing complex and sensitive concerns raised in the Patient Safety Net Program.Role Benefits This role is located at one of our Head Office buildings in Kedron (Brisbane Northside). Demonstrate skills in leading innovation and change to support ongoing improvement in patient safety culture. Demonstrate high level verbal, written and interpersonal and communication skills, both within and between health care disciplines, including influencing colleagues, managing up, conflict resolution, negotiation, and consultation. Demonstrate a high level of competence in the development of planning, implementation and evaluation of strategies designed to advance clinicalgovernance and quality improvements to enhance patient safety and health service delivery.The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role: Applicants who have experience in clinical governance and/or improvement will be highly regarded.
